You've heard the infamous expression, "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye."  We believe that sometimes it can be all about fun, games and toys.  The Chicago Toy & Game (ChiTAG) Fair exemplifies how everything really can be about having a good time.

The fair, which will take place on November 19 and 20 at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, invites participants to "experience the power of play and the magic of invention."  The fantastic thing about this trade show is that all are invited!  Adults can access all the excitement for $10, and kids get in for just $5.

According to its Web site, "ChiTAG brings inventors, manufacturers, retailers, consumers and the media together to play, promote and celebrate the creation of toys and games."  If you're able to make it out to the Chicago show, you're sure to see and play with hundreds of unique promotional games and toys

If you are looking to sell or demonstrate your game or toy, you've got to make it out to ChiTAG.  ChiTAG's Web site reports that influential retailers, trade members, bloggers and more will be present.  In fact, according to ChiTAG's Web site, Mike Hirtle, Head of Global Product Acquisition and Inventor Relations for Hasbro discovered one inventor's stand-out product at ChiTAG.

"Hasbro's first year of exhibiting at ChiTAG was 2007.  Diagonally across the aisle from us was a small booth which always seemed to have a big boisterous crowd around it.  Mike Gray and I wandered over to play Project X, the game that the young Belgian inventor was exhibiting. We liked it and brought a couple of copies back to Hasbro when we returned. We played it with our Games design and marketing teams and they liked it too. We negotiated a license deal with the inventor, changed the name to Pictureka and launched it as a part of Hasbro's line the following year. In addition to the board, card, video, phone and other versions, there is now a Pictureka Game Show on Hasbro's HUB network," said Hirtle.

Clearly, there's tons of opportunity waiting for you at ChiTAG.  If you're looking to exhibit, register today!  This is a decision you won't regret.
