It's been a few years since I visited Alaska but my favorite aspect of the trip was the state's appreciation and embodiment of outdoor sports. I spent everyday of the vacation doing a different sport. Whether it was white water rafting, dog sledding or salmon fishing, there was always something fun to do in Alaska.
In April, lovers of the outdoors will make their way to the Great Alaska Sportsman Show in Anchorage, AK. The Sportsman Show has many unique concepts and events that include a fishing pond for kids, a laser rifle range from the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, an archery range, a mobile aquatic classroom and a great series of seminars. The events will take place at the Sullivan & Ben Boeke Arenas in Anchorage, AK from March 29 - April 1 2012 and there is sure to be a large amount of promotional outdoors items.
