Fashion Do's and Don'ts

"Do you work here?"

It happens all the time.

I'm minding my own business, perusing through the aisles of my favorite store and minding my business when someone will ask me a question. "Where can I find cereal?," "How much is this?," "I'm looking for a wedding gift. Could you help me out?" - the questions are quite limitless. I'll sit there confused and dumbfounded that a stranger could request anything from me and then - after going into a shock for a minute - I realize what I am wearing is almost no different from the uniform of the store's employees.

It's not the end of the world when you're in a mall because people tend to have time to find a real employee and ask questions. But tradeshow attendees have only a few days (or sometimes, just a few hours) to take in EVERYTHING the tradeshow has to offer. And with some tradeshows offering panels, classes and networking socials, you only have precious moments to hook new and existing clients with your products or ideas.

It's absolutely necessary to look your best when working at a tradeshow. Looking and smelling pristine is important but without looking professional, no one will take you seriously - no matter how effective of a salesperson you are. Custom imprinted long sleeve dress shirts is a simple way to effectively show off your company colors, company logo and still dress successfully. For those with a more non-formal company dress-code, promotional t-shirts is the way to go. These promotional t-shirts will give you the largest imprint of any article of clothing.

Sometimes, the products or ideas you sell will help you determine what a good tradeshow uniform could be. If you sell winter products such as skis, scarves or even antifreeze, consider wearing a custom imprinted fleece with your name and logo stitched. For those who sell cookware, a custom imprinted apron is perfect. They have a large imprint area and you can be sure that no one attending the tradeshow as a spectator will be wearing one.

No matter what you choose, custom imprinted apparel allows you to apply any logo, design or contact information to an article of clothing of your choice. And with infinite possibilities, you'll be sure to stick out at a tradeshow.
