Comic Con Hits NY

Apparently, I've made a nice home out of the rock that I've been living under since I completely missed Comic Con NY this past weekend. In fact, once this blog got started I knew that there were going to be specific events that I would be covering for it, and I thought that I should look into Comic Con. It seemed cool. Luckily, my good friend happened to actually pick up his cell phone yesterday when I called him about something completely unrelated and relayed the message that he was there. I immediately instructed him to go photograph everything that he could and report back with full details on what booths were giving away. He actually did it, too! Those pictures will be coming later in the week, but first I thought I would highlight the coolest part of Comic Con for me.

As soon as I got home, I immediately went online and googled comic con. A quick trip to their official website and what do I see? An ad letting people know that they can pick up their exclusive Comic Con glass at Booth 2012. Apparently promotional pint glasses have become a Comic Con staple and every year they release a new one.

While I was thrilled to see that they were promoting promotional products right on their homepage, I was even more excited when I clicked the link. It took me to a page that listed exactly what was available at the Comic Con booths. Here are just a few examples of what fun things were available (even if they weren't free!)
